IMMUNIZATIONS

The goal of Lawrence County Health Department's immunization program is to reduce and eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases in children and adults.  We offer childhood, adolescent, and some adult vaccinations based on CDC requirements.  Immunizations are administered Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.  Walk-ins are accepted as the schedule permits.  To schedule an appointment, please call 740-532-3962.

Flu vaccine clinics are held annually.

LCHD bills most insurances for vaccinations.  Vaccines for Children (VFC) is a program through the Ohio Department of Health that provides vaccines to children with no insurance.  No one will be denied a vaccine provided by the Ohio Department of Health if unable to pay the administration fee.
